Theme: Relaxation

1. Paint to music. Letting your creativity flow in response to music is a great way to let out feelings and just relax.

 

2. Make a scribble drawing. With this activity, you'll turn a simple scribble into something beautiful, using line, color and your creativity.

 

3. Finger paint. Finger painting isn't just fun for kids– adults can enjoy it as well. Get your hands messy and really have fun spreading the paint around.

 

4. Make a mandala. Whether you use the traditional sand or draw one on your own, this meditative symbol can easily help you to loosen up.

Journaling Reflections
Daily Embodiment Practices through Writing

  • Conscious choice of how to show up today - Upon waking is prime time to deliberately choose how you would like your day to proceed Start by reminding yourself - today is new, yesterday is gone and tomorrow is unknown, Just for today - I will feel/be:

  • Jot down whatever comes to mind to center and focus the day ahead - Your Intention

​

  • Gratitude - Write up 5-10 things you are deeply grateful for. After writing each one, place hand on your heart and call to your body how they feel to you.

​

  • Sankalpa - Your daily Mantra - Create one that is easy to remember and reflects on how you desire to show up for yourself

​

  • Inspired Action - Close your eyes and imagine your day. What are you doing, what are you wearing, what are you eating, how are you showing up for yourself. Using your imagination this way gives the ego a new task to ponder and allows you to receive the inspired action from the divine.

​

  • Surrender - Make a promise to yourself that no matter what comes your way today - you will remain in your power and take nothing anything in the outside world does personally.

​

  • Decide what foods will best support you today and make a plan to create meals that support your highest and best self.

​

Somatic Practices

Embodiment Practices through movement
Feeling Safe in your body

Breathing long and deep is a somatic practice and it is encouraged you do this at least 1-2 times per day. Sit in a quiet place, and gently close your eyes. Allow your body to speak to you. What and where is calling your attention.

Read these questions and allow your breath to guide you. Notice the rhythm of your breath, the depth  - the inhale and exhale.

When was the last time, if ever, when you felt safe in
your body?
When was the last time you felt safe to be
who you are?
What were the circumstances? Who and
what was present?

Do you honor, acknowledge and listen
to all parts of yourself or are there times when you judge, shame, or hide those parts you may not like or appreciate as much?



Listen with your inner senses
Acknowledge any sensations that are uncomfortable and allow yourself to simply sit with them.
Ask:
What do you need me to know right now?
Wait and Listen.

Take any inspired action that may come, regardless of how silly, redundant or weird it may seem. This is your divine spirit speaking to you.
